Our Mission
At our core, Bunkhouse Heroes is a non-profit organization committed to raising both awareness and vital funds to address the pressing needs of these communities. We believe in honoring and supporting the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting our nation and communities. Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance, including financial aid, mental health services, and community support, to ensure these heroes and their families can overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

Our Approach
At BUNKHOUSE HEROES, we recognize that economic development is essential for building resilient communities and creating pathways to long-term success. Through innovative initiatives and partnerships, we work to eliminate barriers to employment, entrepreneurship, and financial independence in communities impacted by substance use disorder, trauma, and mental health challenges. Central to our efforts is Equine Assisted Therapy, which not only fosters emotional healing but also supports job training and skills development, empowering individuals to build confidence and resilience. We collaborate with local businesses to provide job training and placement opportunities while supporting aspiring entrepreneurs with mentorship, financial aid, and networking to transform their ideas into successful ventures. By investing in economic development and innovative solutions, we aim to foster growth, opportunity, and fulfillment for individuals and families, ensuring a brighter future for our communities.

Our corporate partners form the backbone of our impact, providing vital resources that enable us to deliver transformative support to those in need. Grants further amplify our reach, allowing us to implement targeted programs and expand our services. That's why we're proud to partner with Bunkhouse Recovery Ranch to offer comprehensive support services tailored to the unique needs of individuals on their path to sobriety.

Through our partnership, we provide both short and long-term sober living accommodations in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our residents benefit from a structured and community-oriented setting where they can focus on their recovery journey surrounded by peers who understand and support their goals.

What sets our program apart is our commitment to empowering individuals with the skills and resources they need to thrive beyond sobriety. In addition to providing housing, we offer vocational testing, placement, and career path guidance to help residents build a successful and sustainable future. Our experienced team works closely with each individual to identify their strengths, interests, and goals, and connects them with meaningful employment opportunities and career pathways upon graduating from the program.
